02 — PSYCHOSIS EARLY WARNINGS

Notice a change.
Start a conversation.

We’re exploring whether changes in speech, sleep and daily activity could help identify personal early warning signs—giving you more context for a check-in or a conversation with your care team.

Prediction and relapse-prevention research concept. Not a validated prediction system.

Approved Frida early-warning concept, showing the Band and a proposed app check-in about changes in sleep and speech.

03 — REALITY-CHECK SUPPORT

AMBITION, WITH EVIDENCE

Built around possibility.
Grounded in research.

Psychosis prediction and relapse prevention are research goals for Frida. We plan to investigate whether wearable observations can support earlier recognition and clinician-agreed prevention plans.

The wearables have not been clinically validated to predict or prevent psychotic episodes. They are being designed to complement professional care.

01

Your choice to record.

Optional capture and physical microphone controls are central to the design.

02

Your information to share.

You decide what goes into a conversation with your care team or trusted people.

03

Your care stays central.

Frida is not a replacement for treatment or an emergency monitoring service.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Your questions,
answered.

When will the wearables be available?

Both are coming-soon concepts. A launch date, final specifications and pricing have not been announced.

Will they work with the Frida app?

Yes—that is the planned experience. Wearable observations and voice check-ins would connect with your Frida app so you can review them alongside your own entries.

Can Frida predict or prevent psychosis?

Not currently. Earlier warning and relapse prevention are research goals. Clinical studies are needed to establish whether the proposed features work reliably and improve outcomes.

Can it tell if something is a hallucination?

The reality-check concept offers recording review, grounding and trusted-contact support. It cannot determine whether an experience is a hallucination, and a missing sound in a recording is not proof.

Is the microphone always listening?

Recording is intended to be optional, with a physical mute switch and a visible recording indicator. Final capture modes are in development.

Does Frida Voice track sleep or heart rate?

No. Frida Voice is the microphone-only concept. Sleep, movement and heart-rate estimates are planned for Frida Band.
